Once again, Lindisfarne Productions had the honour of a chance to work with our friends at the Chrysalis Society for Citizens with Disabilities to help create a video tour for their yearly accreditation through the Alberta Council of Disability Services.
Located in both Calgary and Edmotnon, Chrysalis offers personalized services designed to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities while providing meaningful opportunities for growth and community inclusion. Their many fabulous programs include art programs, employment services, occupational therapy, toastmasters, and personal development.
The ACDS CET accreditation program is the recognized benchmark in the Community Disability Services sector. CET addresses aspects of life that are important to Albertans with developmental disabilities who need to access quality services.
In addition to the accreditation requirements, it was important that the video have an additional focus on HSE practices and COVID-19 safety.
For the video, our crew filmed over several days at both Calgary and Edmonton Chrysalis facilities. We were happy to receive some fantastic help from two video tour guides, Kevin and Tamara. Kevin and Tamara are Chrysalis superstars who proved to be excellent hosts and experts at showing our camera crew around. It is always fun for our team to see the fantastic work being done at Chrysalis and see the new programs and happy faces on site!
Our team used a gimbal to film active tours at both Edmonton and Calgary facilities, allowing the audience to be in the centre of the action. The tours were enhance with footage of the various programs and services Chrysalis has to offer. Enticing broll, shot in slow motion was included to help further engage the audience.
Lindisfarne productions was glad to have the opportunity to help Chrysalis create a video to help them continue the important work they do!
