Our Name

The name Lindisfarne comes from a tiny island off the northeast coast of England. Separated daily from the mainland by high tides, Lindisfarne is crowned with a small castle, a fishing village, a wee distillery, and the ruins of a medieval monastery. We chose the Lindisfarne name for our production company because of the reputation for strength and vigilance associated with this special place, as well as our own family ties to the area.
