In November of last year AltaML won a Deloitte Canada Companies-to-Watch award! AltaML asked Lindisfarne to create a fun award video to help celebrate receiving this special honour.
AltaML is an Alberta-based software company that uses data to build powerful artificial intelligence tools that optimize performance, mitigate risks, and create new opportunities. Starting with just 12 employees, working from home, AltaML has since grown to over one hundred employees working in 3 offices across Canada. AltaML has worked with over 90 clients on more than 400 problems across sectors to accelerate integrated AI and machine learning solutions.
The Deloitte Canada Technology Fast 50 Awards program was launched 24 years ago, and celebrates the world-class achievements and the tremendous evolution of the Canadian technology sector. Categories of the Technology Fast 50 awards include: Clean Technology, Enterprise, and Companies to Watch categories. The Companies-to-watch category ranks Canadian technology companies with the potential to be future Technology Fast 50 category candidates by their revenue growth percentage over their last three years of operation.
Filming during the pandemic presented several unique challenges for our team. Consequently, our crew enabled the use of several innovative techniques to ensure AltaML team members in the Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto offices could all be included in the video. We filmed in person (at a safe distance, through video chat, using existing footage, and we filmed company-wide video calls. We think that the resulting video shows the great work culture at AltaML while respecting pandemic restrictions.
