Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts – Here’s Nina Award Videos 2019

Lindisfarne Productions was happy once again to team up with the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts to sponsor and create the award videos for their annual Here’s Nina gala event! Each year, these award videos are aired during the event to highlight the work of award recipients.

This year we had the pleasure of profiling Nina Haggerty artists: Jamie Laventure III, Aba Garbrah, Katryna Dixon, Kimberly Casarin, and Lora Pallister.

Jamie Laventure III – Realtors Community Foundation Create Award

Jamie Laventure III received the Realtors Community Foundation Create Award. While Jamie likes to use a variety of mediums, his favourite medium is clay. He likes to make things and animals he sees outside using lots of colour and detail.

Aba Garbrah – Rotary Club of Edmonton Northeast Connection Award

Aba Garbrah received the Rotary Club of Edmonton Northeast Connect Award. One of Aba’s specialties is art celebrating Black Canadian culture. She would like to dedicate her award to her family – specifically her parents.

Kim Casarin received the ATB Emerging Artist Award. Using art to communicate from an early age, Kim has always considered herself an artist. She found the Nina with the help of her mother. Indeed, Kim truly believes that art saved her life.

Lindisfarne Productions loves having the opportunity to produce the award videos for Here’s Nina every year. We are always happy to help celebrate the work of the fabulous artists and the Nina Haggerty Centre. Most importantly we love helping these artists amplify their voices.
