Lindisfarne Productions had the pleasure of working with the team at the Health Quality Council of Alberta (HQCA), for the first time, to create awards videos for their 2022 annual Patient Experience Awards.
The Health Quality Council of Alberta is a provincial agency that “brings together patients, families, and partners from across healthcare and academia to inspire improvement in patient safety, person-centred care, and health service quality.”
The HQCA Patient Experience Awards provide recognition to individuals or teams of healthcare workers in Alberta involved in implementing an initiative that promotes a positive patient, client, or resident experience.
This year’s awards honoured the work of 4 separate healthcare initiatives in the province, including:
- Breast Cancer Pathology – Cross Cancer Institute, Edmonton
- Complex Care Hub – Rockyview General Hospital and South Health Campus, Calgary Area
- Infant Preschool Assessment Service (IPAS) – Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, Edmonton
- Low-Stimulus Immunization Clinic, Calgary area.
It was wonderful to hear about the exciting and innovative initiatives happening within Alberta’s healthcare system. Moreover, our team enjoyed speaking to care providers and patients about the impact these initiatives are making in the lives of Albertans. We not only learned more about the healthcare system, but we also had the chance to tell great stories.
It was an honour to work with the HQCA team. Additionally, we loved celebrating this year’s Patient Experience Awards recipients with their own awards videos. Highlighting innovative solutions to patient care barriers helps motivate and improve patient care for all Albertans.
