Neil Grahn – Producer, Director
Award winning Métis producer, director and writer Neil Grahn has been in the TV & film business since 1990. Neil wrote/directed and produced the Gemini Award winning lifestyle series Taking It Off and was nominated for a Gemini in 2008 for a documentary series he wrote/directed and produced for APTN called Fish Out of Water. Over the past 15 years Neil has won several Alberta Film and Television awards and has been nominated for dozens.
Neil has a long history in broadcast and web series documentaries and has worked on projects ranging from a Fringe Theatre doc for Bravo to directing on the OLN series The Rig. He has written and directed for HGTV, History Television, Life Network, APTN and Discovery Channel. Neil directed two seasons of the APTN show Playing with Fire which included a 12 episode web series. Recently he wrote and directed several Telus Optik Local documentaries including Ripped, Secret Alberta: The Former Life of Amber Valley and Fort Mac: Staying Strong.
Neil has also directed and produced dozens of corporate, industrial and government videos over the years including the AMPIA award winner, Warner Hockey School.
