Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry celebrates its 100th Anniversary this year and the regiment hired Lindisfarne to cover the events in commemorative videos.
The Edmonton Commemoration featured a Better ‘Ole beer gardens, Golf Tournament, Centennial Parade (with SkyHawks and 3PPCLI para demonstrations – very cool!), Centennial Dinner/Dance at Northlands, Patricia Park Dedication Service and the Heritage Display where the Garrison was open to the public.

Also part of the 100th Anniversary activities is the Memorial Baton Relay. The Baton carries the full Honour Roll of the Regiment and is currently being carried from Edmonton to Ottawa. We were able to catch the Relay at a few points in Alberta and Ontario; including a stop at an awarded veterans’ home in Calgary which was incredible to be a part of.
We were amazed by the hard work and coordination it took to make the Edmonton Commemoration and the Memorial Baton Relay a success. Our team is looking forward to the Ottawa Commemoration and sharing footage here soon!
