Every year the Lois Hole Hospital for Women’s Harvest Celebration features a fabulous feast and this year was no different: featuring a 5-star menu created by Gold Medal Plates award-winning chef, Ryan O’Flynn of the Westin Hotel. With stomachs grumbling, our team had the opportunity to follow Ryan as he created this year’s menu and sourced all of the local ingredients. Unfortunately for us, he had no need for official taste testers! See the food video here.
All of the victuals for the event were provided by generous sponsors: meaning that all funds raised from tickets to this year’s Gala goes towards the Lois Hole’s program for advanced minimally invasive surgery. These minimally invasive surgeries assist women with ovarian or gynecological cancers, difficult pregnancies, and allow patients to experience less pain, scarring, and shorter hospital stays with significantly reduced recovery times.
