United Way – We Get Back Up! Music Video
This summer Lindisfarne productions had the opportunity to team up with RJ & Rowena Cui of Planit Sound to create an exciting music video for the United Way Capital Region‘s “We Get Back Up” Campaign.
Together with Mayor Don Iveson and board co-chair and First Lady Sara Chan, popular CTV personality Josh Classen, and some very talented musicians and singers we braved thunder/hail storms (and Pokeman Go players) to film this musical joy ride at the beautiful Alberta Legislative Grounds.
The song including over 15 collaborating local artists and musicians, featuring Paul Woida and Julia Nicholson, as well as Mayor Iveson on drum machine, Sarah Chan playing the melodica, and Josh Classen rapping on the beat, and the Logan Alexis Singers. Interspersed between the lyrics, Josh Classen and local news personality Erin Isfeld relay local news headlines to tell the story of the difference the United Way Capital Region has made in the fight against poverty.
The video helped to highlight the many different initiatives that the United Way Capital Region is involved in and the difference they have made for those struggling with poverty both in the greater Edmonton community and throughout the province.
