Lindisfarne Productions’ video crew once again had the honour of producing a powerful event video for this year’s Harvest Celebration for the Lois Hole Hospital for Women on Saturday, September 15th.
This year’s Harvest Gala took place at the Enjoy Centre in St. Albert. The Gala’s case for support was to raise funds for the surgical program at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women. The Lois Hole Hospital for Women requires operating theatres for obstetrical, gynecological and urogynecological procedures. Often when an emergency situation arises, a scheduled surgery will need to be rescheduled to make room for that procedure. Funds raised at this year’s gala will allow for the creation of an additional operating theatre, an outpatient surgical suite, and the expansion of the Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgical Program, to increase hospital capacity.
The event video we created this year used dramatic storytelling to highlight the urgent need for additional operating theatres: a story that reflects the every day reality of the patients who are brought to the Lois Hole Hospital for Women for urgent care.
