After a long wait Edmonton is now home to the new and improved Rogers Place Arena, the new home of the Edmonton Oilers and the Edmonton Oil Kings. While the excitement continues for the new arena and the surrounding area, many have been left wondering what will happen to the former home of our beloved hockey clubs, the Northlands Coliseum. Will it be a concert venue? A venue for minor league sports? A recreation facility? The team at Lindisfarne Productions was happy to create a whiteboard animation video to help answer some of these questions.
Over the past several months, The City of Edmonton has been collecting ideas and exploring partnership options for repurposing the coliseum, and they asked our Lindisfarne video production crew to help find a creative and engaging way to inform Edmontonians about the extensive feedback they have received.
Lindisfarne teamed up with the very talented artist Sam Hester of The 23rd Story to bring the feedback to life in a creative and informative way. Sam’s work was clear and well designed to help tell the story. We can’t wait to work with her again!
